Maybe ACE doesn't have such check box. Maybe the company that produces it doesn't want to deal with 1000 different Linux distributions. I don't know, neither do you. I myself don't blame the devs. But their bosses. They decided to go with ACE and not something else that might work. Why? Maybe money, maybe China doesn't trust anti-cheat solutions from abroad. Maybe something else.

the anti cheat checks the hardware(CPU) and if its not a steam deck it gets blocked.
"it's checking the cpu identifier which is impossible to spoof. This also means the check is kind of stupid as a different OS will still work, making it more of a placebo against cheating on linux."
Then I did a clean reinstall, deleting everything in the process. I did that offline. My Windows 10 was working fine, even after (again offline) I installed all required drivers. No 100% disk usage, Fast as it was before that.
Then I plugged it into the network, it connected to MS servers to get its digital license. And the next boot it was slow as hell again with 100% disk usage. Another OBVIOUS coincidence.
Then the local support suggested that I should get a faster disk, SSD instead of HDD. Great solving skills. I got SSD, then again offline I installed Windows on the SSD. Now Windows doesn't even boot at all. Another coincidence, I know.
So my local support suggested I should buy a new computer with Windows 11. Do these guys know any solution that does not include the word "buy"?
I just installed Linux. It was perfectly able to boot from the SSD and the HDD, I have two different distros on them. The one on the HDD works just like Windows used to work on HDD before it miraculously started running slow. The one on the SDD is very fast, I don't regret buying the SSD at all.
I don't regret installing Linux as well. There are some problems, but there were problems on Windows as well. And those were 2x more than my Linux problems. Also there is no need for support for Linux. There is enough information online, so I can fix my issues by myself.
Those facts are indeed frustrating even to me, but I can't change reality, so people should be prepared to not get the game working on Linux.
Some of them may want to buy Steamdeck, some of them may decide to buy Windows just to play the game. Or perhaps other device capable of running the game.
I myself already know I will not play the game, unless a miracle happens and the game is published to be compatible with Linux. That's all.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
