If it works fine for some, fair enough. But this feels like an advertisement.

And I question the legitimacy (stealing is stealing, no matter how you try to justify it for a game).

it's not stealing, it's an open source rules engine. This is simply a strong suggestion for those who enjoyed this game, want more, but don't want MTGO

If open source/allowed, ok. But glancing over it it does seem have the MTGO feel with the dated look.

And I doubt it has all cards. There are certain ones that require physical mechanics (tear up a card) or have a game within a game within a game, etc., that digital versions haven't been able to replicate.

Best is subjective. I 'trust' it is the best for you, but not for all of us.
