So sad that a game plagued by controversy cant even support the people wanting to give it a fair shot.
Setting it to 'Hybrid' fixed my issue

Regarding the stuttering issue, traversal stutters are obvious, they weren't in the previous patch. I'm noticing another thing, using any upscaler(with DRS) introduces spikes in my frametime graph, setting it to Native TAA removes those spikes, graph goes to a near horizontal with the exception of those traversal stutters. Maybe DRS is causing those spikes, that I can't be 100% sure of.
Hello ✠Lavinia Falcone✠ and Rzer! I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues after the recent update. It is impossible to reset the game to before the patch. If you are experiencing stutters and blurry textures, I recommend trying to disable Dynamic Resolution Scaling and then check if there are any differences.
Additionally, you can delete the config file ACShadows.ini from the folder Documents\Assassin's Creed Shadows\ and let the game automatically set the settings. Please let us know the results.
