I'm using lossless scaling FGx2 and the cufscenes are running @ 60fps ...effectively
As i said, i'm getting 60fps on my cutscenes.
How do you do that?
How do you unlock the 30fps cutscenes using lossless scaling?
You run it using it's frame generation x 2 feature 30fps ---> 60fps
I'm also using it on top of the game's own frame generation. Not noticing any extra latency either, though it's likely there.
We probably should just wait and see if Lyall comes up with a fix - if they're even interested in doing so for this game - or if someone on Nexus Mods uploads something similar like they did day 1 for FF7 Rebirth, etc. I expect we'll get something; maybe even a cheat trainer fix of some kind, I don't know.
It's an app. You can purchase it on Steam for a few dollars. It's kind of DIY frame generation. Usually not QUITE as good as native FG if it's properly implemented, but nearly as comparable and occasionally better, but generally with more ghosting (highly dependent on if you have a good base framerate to begin with in the game).
manually press ctrl+Alt+S to turn on LSFG during cut scene and off in gameplay.
Wasn't aware of this. But why do that, out of curiosity? Since you limit to half your FPS for x2 FG, isn't this just lowering your FPS back to half after the cutscene?
