DLSS option removed

I've been playing with DLSS and frame gen on but the game just crashed and when i started again there's no option for either, anyone know a fix? thanks

Same for me, the Frame Generation option disappeared from the menu. I will try to reinstall the Nvidia driver.

That's a problem of the newest nvidia drivers, if you use a more than average display refresh rate with DLSS-FG the game crash. Try to lower your refresh rate to 120hz (outside of the game) and is not going to crash your entire PC, that happened to me too, and in if that doesn't work try to disable VRR too.

The second fix is to delete the NvidiaApp that fixed the issue for me.

Nvidia used to release a driver update once a month, but since they launched the 5000 series, they've released 10 in less than 3 months (including hotfixes). Nvidia is a mess with drivers right now.

Yeah I'd already set it to max 120fps in Nvidia control panel and now I've been able to play for an hour with frame gen and dlss on, thanks!

I just keep that "upscaler" on Auto. Seems to work fine. Dont notice any quality or FPS drops.
(also funny the game claims i got unsupported hardware because to old drivers, it isnt really just not the latest buggy nvidia cr*p and of course no NVIDIA app bs

Yeah, Nvidia drivers have been horrendous since the 5000 series support. If you check the Nvidia forums, these newest drivers cause a lot of crashes and problems in other games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, RDR2, and Cyberpunk, Vr games and more. Also, the Nvidia app is useless, I use Nvidia Profile Inspector instead because it’s far more modular and offers many more options.

i spent like 5 hours trying to get it back, tried every option and i've realised it's totally random, if you keep restarting the game it comes back eventually.

i got my dlss settings back after using an app called dlss swapper and swapped it with lattest settings

I also have this problem dlss & dlss framegen disappear randomly, have tried to restart the game several times but the dlss & dlss framegen options still don't appear, I hope they fix this problem as soon as possible, because I'm starting to think about refunding this game.

Try disabling Steam input (for the controller). Worked for me: I now get DLSS options every time plus I have Playstation controller UI in game.
