Same here, Core memory gets to about 93% and then fails right after the connecting bit. I tried adding the game to firewall exceptions. nothing doing.

Hello everyone,

thanks for reaching out.

I'm sorry that the game suddenly started to crash.

Do you get any error messages when the game crashes? If so, could you share a screenshot showing this error?

Please complete all steps listed in this guide[ubi.li], as this will ensure that the common causes of the game crashes are eliminated.

Perform a DISM/SFC [ubi.li] scan on your PC, as this will identify and repair any potential issues with your operating system.

If you have an Nvidia graphics card, try rolling back to a previous version of the driver. Some other players mentioned that the game does not crash on the 572.42 version.

Please let us know if the issue persists after following the above steps.

my option is greyed out for the roll back option for previous drivers. i also ran the tests and everything is fine.

Having the same issue, posted on a different thread.
No error message, just an instant crash. Had 14 hours into the game, crashed originally when fast travelling/switching characters. Game refused to play after that.

I have a Nvidia graphics card, had to rollback the version the other day for an unrelated issue. Tried all the usual fixes, plus some that other people had suggested (deleting game saves, firewalling the exe. etc) So far, it still crashes on launch after memory add-on.

Heard it might be a graphics thing? but no clue how id change graphic settings without being able to get into the game.

Very confused as to why it started randomly when it worked perfectly fine a few hours ago.

It can take a long time to complete, but a system restore might be worth trying. You can enter in the search box, run box, or cmd: rstrui.exe

If you have system restore enabled, this can take you to a point before system changes occurred, such as a botched Window's Update.

During the Uplay days, I used to get BSOD on start up of every Ubisoft game due to their anti-cheat software. Uninstalling and reinstalling that helped temporarily fix the problem.

If you can find BattlEye on you computer. Uninstall it. In fact, try reinstalling Ubisoft Connect.
Still have this issue too.
