Crashing on startup
I've been playing for around five hours, I finally crash and go to restart the game but whenever I get past the ubisoft splash screen and onto the connecting online I keep crashing at the "Checking for Memory Add-On" any help at all? I have already done a fresh install AND verified the files.

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry to hear that your game is crashing at 93%. This issue mainly occurs when there are problems with GPU drivers, so I recommend manually updating or reinstalling them[ubi.li]

Please also do not use third-party software which may affect the save files or the game itself.

Some players have also shared a workaround:

- Delete all save files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<UbisoftConnectID>\1081.
- Run Steam and Ubisoft Connect.
- Disconnect from the Internet.
- Launch the game.
- Play the game until an autosave file is created in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<UbisoftConnectID>\1081.
- When the autosave file is created, exit the game and reconnect to the Internet.
- When the game is restarted, you should be able to play normally.

Please let us know the results.

This crash occurs when you have a "very" high refresh rate display while using DLSS FrameGen. Reduce your monitor refresh rate to 120 and should be fixed.

Same, but my refresh rate already was set to 120. Will try 60 and let you know if it helps.

We have to get into the game to fix that issue. I tried fixing it through my monitor display settings and my game still crashes.
Okay! So I got my game to work. I deleted the folders the saves are in, loaded into the game and got the intro like I was starting a fresh save but instead my old saves were there.... weird but it fixed my game?

Try to disable VRR/G-sync and leave your monitor refresh rate at 120hz outside the game, it seems to be a Nvidia problem of the newest driver
