Ubisoft Connect: 1. Open Ubisoft Connect. 2. Click on your profile icon (top-right). 3. Go to Settings. 4. Uncheck “Enable Cloud Save Synchronization for supported games.” 5. Click Apply and restart Ubisoft Connect.

Steam (if applicable): 1. Open Steam. 2. Go to Library, right-click AC Shadows, and select Properties. 3. Under General, uncheck “Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud.” 4. Close settings and restart Steam.

Step 2: Manually Delete Cloud Saves (If Needed) • If disabling cloud sync alone doesn’t work, try deleting the cloud save to force the game to create a fresh one. • Cloud saves are usually located at: • Ubisoft Connect: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames
• Steam (if applicable): C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\YourSteamID\

⚠️ Important: Before deleting anything, back up the save folder somewhere safe, in case you need to restore it later.

So here is what fixed it for me. If you have the game open close it. After that completely shut down steam. Then open steam again but this time run it as administrator. Then launch the game. That right there fixed it for me. If I were you I would also set steam to automatically run as administrator when launching for now because of this issue. To do that go to this location in file explorer: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam. Then click on the steam application and then right click it then select properties. Then select compatibility and then checkmark run this program as administrator. Then click apply in the bottom right corner then press ok and that should be it

If it’s a cloud save issue, you can try working around it by disabling cloud sync and forcing the game to use a local save. Here’s how:

Step 1: Disable Cloud Sync (Ubisoft Connect & Steam)

⚠️ Important: Before deleting anything, back up the save folder somewhere safe, in case you need to restore it later.
same, still

This worked! Played for 11 hours straight lol. Just dont manually save or fast travel.
USE ONLY AUTO SAVE BUT NOT LAST.
