Anyone else having problems with using a controller?

Using the right stick is completely broken on this game it seems, the camera doesnt turn properly and gets stuck going up. This is a brand new controller that works perfectly fine on every other game I've used it on, i got on monster hunter wilds to test it right after i tried it on here and the issue is exclusive to AC Shadows, anyone know a fix?

Having the same problem, i played for a few hours no problems at all and now i cant move my character forward without the camera going haywire.
Which is odd because up until this point the camera was on the right analog stick and now its randomly mixed in with my movement stick wtf?

Make sure the settings in the options for your controller type is not "hybrid". If your using a PS5 controller like I was then set it to the Dual Sense exclusively.

this worked perfectly for my xbox controller. changing from hybrid to xbox fixed it.

For me it happend on the way to get the chest. Crouch, Sprint and Kunai throw stopped working with custom controlls. I reset the controlls back to original and it was working again.

Make sure you're not creating conflicts. Pay attention to the error icons.

It is under game settings, but not under controller part but gameplay i think it was.

An hour in and my deflect stopped working. I haven’t changed any controls at all. Now LB just brings up a free aim instead of deflecting, even locked on to an enemy and with sword drawn.
