However, the HDD/SDD error is still happening and load times are still incredibly long :(
Should I normally have my HDMI cable running from my GPU hdmi port to my TV???
This is my first computer and AC Shadows say it's using 8076MB / 512MB VRAM when I'm in the in game settings.
When i go to the nvidia app it shows 64% gpu being used
I had same issue with Starwars Outlaws.
Hello chemik12345,
Thank you for your messages and I'm glad to hear that you resolved the Vram issue.
For everyone else in this thread asking about VRAM.
The HDMI or DisplayPort cable should always connect your main GPU and the monitor.
If you connect your motherboard HDMI/DP (if you have one) to your screen, it will most likely use an integrated GPU, if your system / CPU is equipped in one.
As for the SSD issues, try moving the game to the system SSD drive and verify game file afterwards. If the game keeps showing that your SSD is an HDD, let us know its brand, model and capacity, and what percentage of it is already used.
SSD drives will lose their performance significantly when they approach their full capacity. Usually is means if they are more than 80% used.
With their performance significantly lowered, the game may recognise it as an HDD instead.
