Constant loading icon/stuttering?
The game is taking forever to load anything at all times. In cutscenes it constantly stops to load which I can tell by the icon in the bottom left, when on horseback going faster than walking it also freezes to start loading and at times in gameplay too stuff just doesnt load like after killing a target all the enemies are just frozen whilst I can run away and even the HUD wont load untill after a bit. I reinstalled the game, reinstalled driver, lowered settings and its on my SSD and its still having this issue and dont know what else to do.

Try it yourself, it's quick to handle

I'm done with the game actually, this should just work for the amount of money they want.

Yeah my issue was kinda fixed but it's still slow to load textures, ui elements, sound, music, notifications etc. It's just as bad as before but still kinda unplayable

OK, it seems to work, no more loading during cutscenes, launch Ubisoft and the game executive as administrator. and in the Nvdia settings disable G-sync

man, that worked fantastic for me,thank you so much, loading now is almost instant... Thank you very much... i had the same problem with Valhalla and i never found a fix for that.
Glad it works!

Ok guys,i got the fix.I just installed the game on my main NvMe disk.Until optimization ,seems to be the best option. I got rid of loading icon/stuttering.Everything is insta charging as its supposed to be.

Yeah mines already on my main nvme along with steam and ubisoft
All that's left is to wait for a patch to avoid all these solutions which are normally useless

So I moved the game from my main drive (pcie 4.0) (one that has OS, Steam and Ubisoft stuff btw) to a secondary - slower (pcie 3.0) SSD, and my issues are gone. The game would crank up the SSD usage to 100% and then the issues would start to happen. On a slower SSD it's like any other game now.

Hey all, I had the same issue but on Ubisoft Connect. I moved the game to a faster SSD and that seemed to fix the problem. Everything is loading fine now including interactions and cut scenes. I haven't frozen once in an hour and some change, where normally I would start freezing about 5 minutes in.

Same for me so far, game was installed on my C drive. Went out and bought a decent external SSD and reinstalled it onto it and it seemed to have fixed.

Yes, I noticed the same after Hotfix 1.0.1.

I think is somehow related or connected with this confirmed/opened issue:
