Constant loading icon/stuttering?
The game is taking forever to load anything at all times. In cutscenes it constantly stops to load which I can tell by the icon in the bottom left, when on horseback going faster than walking it also freezes to start loading and at times in gameplay too stuff just doesnt load like after killing a target all the enemies are just frozen whilst I can run away and even the HUD wont load untill after a bit. I reinstalled the game, reinstalled driver, lowered settings and its on my SSD and its still having this issue and dont know what else to do.

Same issue here, game runs well but freezes up to load menus and stuff constantly, also locks up my whole computer and utilizes 100% of my SSD
Same issue here on ubisoft connect, unplayable.
Exact same with me every 30 seconds my game freezes to load and textures wont load in has anyone found any solution to this it seems not many people are experiencing this
I can’t even sprint
On my
Horse it just makes my game load every 5 seconds even going into menus is really slow

Anyone found a fix? Have you guys tried tinkering with texture pool option in scalability menus?

I may have found a solution, I played it before for 20 minutes, I have to confirm first, before giving you false hope

Ive disabled Core 0 on my game on task manager and set prio to high and seems better? But Ive only tested 1 cutscene too so far

Any info?
I will keep you informed during my next gaming session
OK, it seems to work, no more loading during cutscenes, launch Ubisoft and the game executive as administrator. and in the Nvdia settings disable G-sync

EDIT: issues came back after playing for a couple of hours.

So I have redownloaded the game, changed a lot of the options - decided to stop trying to play native with low RT - cranked it up a little bit, but what I suspect to be a culprit is the texture buffer setting - I had it set to the max, now turned it down to medium. The description of it says that high and above are for GPU's with 12 or more VRAM, but when you set it to high - the vram chart barely changes - kind of misleading. My GPU has 16GB of VRAM, but after changing that settnig to medium I managed to clear a couple of enemy camps without issues - and that's after cranking the other graphical settings up (mainly high RT, and diffusion + specular everywhere) Maybe give it a try.
