Constant loading icon/stuttering?

The game is taking forever to load anything at all times. In cutscenes it constantly stops to load which I can tell by the icon in the bottom left, when on horseback going faster than walking it also freezes to start loading and at times in gameplay too stuff just doesnt load like after killing a target all the enemies are just frozen whilst I can run away and even the HUD wont load untill after a bit. I reinstalled the game, reinstalled driver, lowered settings and its on my SSD and its still having this issue and dont know what else to do.

Does your game stop for a couple of seconds but you can still rotate the camera too? I keep having very similar issues to yours.

Ive been trying to find a fix, makes the game near unplayable

I'm in the same boat, both the game and initial menus take forever to load.

My specs are fine compared to the recommended and the benchmark gives me ~100fps with the settings i've chosen but the loading times are crazy and the cutscenes run fine but then stop to load for a couple of seconds every few seconds with the little spinning loading icon.

I notice the game itself doesn't freeze as you can still hear audio and the character's hair still sways with physics, etc.

Also, in the loading screen where the character is running around in the 'void' his audio barks when you punch or whatever play about 3 seconds after he makes the action which is strange.

I've tried all different settings from ultra to low, with ray tracing wound all the way down, still no dice.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 (Nvidia drivers downloaded yesterday)
12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700KF 3.60 GHz
32GB ram
Game is installed to the same SSD as steam and ubisoft (NVMe Kingston SKC3000 SCSI Disk Device, drive is 3/4 empty)

For comparison, I was playing kingdome come deliverance 2 a couple days ago on the same SSD with maxed out settings and no grief at all, pretty sure i dont have anything wrong with my system.

So far i've tried a full uninstall/re-install of the game, turned off all the overlays (ubi, steam and nvidia), and re-installed the most recent nvidia drivers.

This is the exact same issue I have too. I even tested everything in benchmark and lowered settings hoping it would change it but havent had any luck either and have no clue what to do to try and fix it. Game runs completely fine in gameplay but the cutscenes are same issue as you, same with when in the animus and loading I have that too

Facing the same issue, it makes the game unplayable.

I have the same problem as you, I thought my components were about to fail but not at all in the end that reassures me, hoping that it will be resolved quickly

Afterwards, I don't know about you, but I noticed that in the cinematics when it loads, in my task managers my SSD goes to 100% usage and that's when the freeze in the game appears.
