I am unable to launch the exe
I have done the usual troubleshooting: restarted the computer, restarted Steam, ran Steam as the administrator, verified game files, ran the exe as the administrator, Windows Defender is not blockading anything... what else do I need to do? Thanks!

In order for us to be able to assist you further with this, could you please specify in more detail what happens when you're launching the game? Are you getting any error messages? If so could you send us a screenshot of such an error?

I would recommend taking a look at one of our troubleshooting guides[ubi.li] and following any steps you may not have tried yet.

Please keep us updated on the situation.

Hello, thanks for replying. I was not getting an error message of any kind. It was as if the exe was launching normally. I would get the "syncing achievements with the cloud" window, but then it was as if it would stop launching all together.

I was able just now to also run Ubisoft Connect manually as the administrator and get the game to launch successfully via Steam. But I am curious why it is necessary for this title alone to run Steam and Ubisoft Connect as the administrator to launch - just a bug for it alone, perhaps? Any ideas?

go to start, search view network connections, disable all except your active network, and it should now work.

I have tried this additionally and this seems to work consistently. Thanks for the tip, friend.
With so many people having this issue, you would think they would say something instead of just giving a generic troubleshooting guide.
