Same from my side. It is only with Ubisoft Games that i have this direkt x failure. This stressed me up, where is the solution for that?

Hello SyX, webthor06.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I am sorry that you are getting an error message.

Is the game installed on the same drive as Steam and Ubisoft Connect?

I'd also recommend taking a look at one of our troubleshooting guides[ubi.li] and following any steps you may not have tried yet.

Please also ensure that your system is running in High-Performance Mode.

Please keep us updated on the situation.

Same NVME but different partition
I can't install on the same partition cause I reserved 100gb for windows and programs and 900gb for other stuff and games
Why is this a thing, even? not a single game has a problem like this

Welcome back!

I've received information that reinstalling DX12 fixed the issue for some players. Can you please do it on your side and let me know if that helped?

That couldn't possibly be the reason.
It's a game problem with my hardware or it's a driver problem
I reverted latest 572.83 drivers to 572.70 and have been playing the game without crashes
Will keep playing to see if this is really the issue.

Update: after 1 hour gameplay I had the same crash
I'll just wait for ubisoft to patch a fix
Nothing wrong with my pc or directx12

Hey SyX,

thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate this piece of information, I will let our teams know about it.
nothing helps ... i also reinstalled the game itself. I started the benchmarking and during these benchmarking also the direct x failure occured. This direct x failure only happens with Ubisoft games, i hav e no problems with Cyberpunk or other other high performance games and i really need a solution for that!

I tried more than once and everytime it crashed in a different moment
So I just kept trying and crashing, opening the game again and trying again
Until I could proceed a little bit and save the game everytime
Until it didn't crash anymore at a certain point of the game (When we meet the little boy)
I'm not sure if it will crash again tho
Being playing 1h and 30 minutes without crashing since
I went back to latest drivers
and didn't change anything else

I get random (not every time) DX12 errors followed by a CtD when accessing my gear/inventory.

- Latest Win11
- Latest Nvidia drivers (572.83)

9800X3D
4090
64GB RAM
12TB (3x4TB) NVMe (PCIe 4x4 storage)
If your GPU is overclocked and/or undervolted, try with stock settings.

Mine is just using 80% power limit

No overlocks on my side.

Has this actually been officially reported as a known issue to Ubisoft? If so, could you provide a link for any sort of tracking/updates for the resolution of this issue?

I get this too. I was playing fine last night, and this morning it stopped loading the game. Just CTD when it says "connecting online".
