Playing 1,5 hours, constant crashes

Like the title states, i've been playing for a good 1,5 to 2 hours now and frankly ive had 5 crashes now so far. Game freezing up or even causing multiple bsod's. I have installed the latest NVIDIA driver in the hopes that it would help but unfortunately no.

Ive already read online that the game is horrendously optimized for NVIDIA gpu's and stuff but still. This literally makes it unplayable.

It sucks, but i have to wait for an update/fix. Does anyone else have similar issues?

Im currently running:
9800X3D
RTX 4090
64GB DDR5 RAM

i had no issues this morning i went off to get breakfast and bam i cannot launch the game it just keeps blue screening my pc

Have you tried to rollback on the NVIDIA drivers? Currently using version 572.42 without any crash.

Strange, I am not playing on Steam but this doesn't matter but somehow I didn't had any crashes in 3 hours of gameplay.
I have an ryzen 7 5800x3d and rtx 5070ti.
and I must say, with frame gen, game is running stunningly with RT on High.

Using the latest drivers.

When i could play it it did run okay, around 110/120 frames with ultra preset and RT enabled. It didnt feel like 120 tho, more like 'real' 80/90, but hey. Thats frame gen for ya.

Im not playing on steam either, on ubi, but i dont wanna go into all that stuff to report on something, going here into the discussions was quicker. :)

I've just read on reddit that a lot of people are saying to disable Frame Gen and play without it. So for the people that have the same problem as me, that could work for ya.

I played the game around 5 hours and it went completely smooth, but now every time I open the game as soon as I get to the menu where I select shadows it crashes.

Same. It seems right after I downloaded that new nividia update I can't even run the game anymore it literally hard locks my PC to a blank screen forcing me to restart.

Guys disable gsync globally on nvidia app it fixes it

Same here, I've tried updating the nvidea driver, turning off cloud sync, and nothing works

For everyone here, im still running the newest Nvidia driver, but im just simply disabled frame gen. At least for me, with my settings, the game still runs okay so im fine without it. Ive played now for about 6 to 7 hours without a single hiccup. Somewhere with Frame Gen theres something screwing around, turn it off and it works :)

how do i do that? id like to play the game i paid $90 for

Just disable frame gen in your graphics settings ingame?
