Initializing infinitely
Load ubi app 1st then press play on steam worked for me
When i pressed play, it launched. Maybe you have to launch Ubisoft Connect before you launch the game? at least once.
You need to opt out of the Steam Beta program.
mine says my ubi account is locked (???), so i cant even play it.
didnt they say this game wouldnt need the damn launcher?
I launched my game directly from the .exe and run it with admin rights and it worked for me. Try that

No, for me it connected surprisingly fast for once.

As other players mentioned, if you're currently using a beta version of Steam, try switching to the regular release to verify if the problem persists.
Restarting your PC fixes the problem, at least it worked for me
My problem remains: first, the Steam service starts, then Ubisoft Connect, and it crashes. After restarting, the same thing happens, but this time it crashes during game preparation.

The problem was resolved when I disabled all virtual network adapters and left only the main one enabled.
