scout marker glitch

Does anybody know what to do with the scout markers? I choose the blue quest and can't dispatch the scout by pressing F

Solved it. Stop clicking on quests on the map. Just Press F after you click which guy you want to track and move the map so your new white highlighted area is where its supposed to be on the map as instructed by the quest and hit dispatch

This was the answer for me, but to elaborate I had to follow the clues, find the area on the map, zoom in fully and then the F key worked to scout properly. Any zoom out didn’t work. Clicking the dog mission, doesn’t break the game, but it hides the clues to the location effectively making it hard to find where you’re scouting if you forget the clues.
