Not starting?

I'm clicking the play button it looks like it gonna start then it just goes back to start.

so i fixed it by just restarting over and over. my guess is it has to install something and they somehow ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. works fine now. was like 15-20 times for me until it worked

Ubisoft connect isn't even recognizing it as a game i reinstalled both the game and ubisoft connect, tried all the methods listed here and nothing

restarted my pc twice, steam thrice and then i just started the game over and over

For anyone having this problem I tracked the error to Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\UbisoftGameLauncher.exe with error code 0xc0000005, unfortunately this means Ubisoft Connects will have to be updated to fix the problem

UPDATE I GOT IT TO LAUNCH!!

I had to purchase Ubisoft Plus, I set the download folder to the one on Steam (i already bought it on steam ofc) Then i let it download like 2 mb's that were needed.

Restarted my PC

IMPORTANT STEP

Make sure nothing launches off boot. Aka Steam / a VPN / NOTHING

Start Ubi connect as Admin, Launch Steam as admin, Then Start the game thru the AC SHADOWS +

Do no choose the one without the + and it should start up
