Losing audio after a while
So after some time playing, I loose most audio source, only some voices and some sound effects remains. Weird. I had to restart the game 4x already because of this.

[Language]
Client=de-DE
Text=de-DE
Sound=en-US
Subtitles=de-DE

change the 3rd line "Sound=en-US" to "Sound=de-DE". Looks like this now:

[Language]
Client=de-DE
Text=de-DE
Sound=de-DE
Subtitles=de-DE

Save file, done.

Bug is fixed now for me. If you play another language, you have to change the line "Sound=en-US" to something different then me ("Sound=jp-JP"?) or whatever the other lines show as language parameter. Sadly the change is gone after the game is closed, so you have to either write-protect the file "ACShadows.ini", or write the fix before every game start.

I'm having the same problem: cutscenes with empty spaces and weak sound effects. I close and reopen the game, and when the cutscene ends, it sounds better.
It's annoying because it loses immersion.

I also have to disable NVIDIA Instant Replay because the game keeps crashing with DX12 error 0x887A0006.

In German it is the Same. Sound collaps after 5 Minutes. Sometimes the Music. Sometimes the Ambiente Sound. Sometimes Voices. Restart help. But it came back after 3-5 Minutes.
In this Form unplayable atm.

Nop, only restarting the game works, but after a while is the same thing...
Disabling framegen worked for me.

The same thing happens with Japanese audio, and I have to reboot my PC to fix it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Same here with German language on Steam Deck. Guess we'll have to play with everything set to English until an update fixes this. Weird that this issue wasn't caught during QA.
