DX12 Error 0x8007000E
Is there any fix for it?My game keeps crashing in less than 1-2 minutes each time and I get this error. What I tried:
-Verified the game files
-Re Installed DX12
-Updated my GPU to the newest drivers(25.3.2)
-Updated my Windows(24H2 with the latest Updates)
-Tried every in-game setting from full High to full Low with Frame Gen On and Off,FSR On and Off,VSync on and Off
-Typed -dx11 in the launch option
-Disabled Steam and Uplay overlays
Nothing worked.
PC Spec:
32GB DDR4 3000MHz
Ryzen 7 3700X
RX 5700 XT
Windows 11 Pro 24H2
Installed on SSD NVMe M2.
Is there any fix for this issue? Thanks for the help and have a nice day!

Apologies for the performance issues still spoiling your game experience.

Please check if you have Resizable BAR and Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling enabled in your systems. If not, enable these two features for a test.

You can find step-by-step guides on how to check it and enabled it online.

Another possibility, as reported by other players, particularly those using Avast antivirus, is that Avast may remove or quarantine some game files, causing the game to stop working on their PCs.

If you use it, please test if disabling and closing it, then verifying the game files, will let you launch the game.

Looking up this error code, it points to the issue being RAM related. Do you have any overclocking going on for your RAM by chance? XMP/EXPO?

Nothing is overcloked. The RAM supports 3000MHz speed but they ran at 2133MHz.

Hello -XeVoN-, sorry to hear that you have been experiencing crashes due to a DX12 error despite all the troubleshooting you have completed.

I can confirm that the team is currently looking into this issue and can only apologise for the inconvenience this is causing.

In the meantime, there are a few workarounds which I would like to share that may help.

-Delete cache files in Steam[ubi.li] and Ubisoft Connect[ubi.li]
You will be asked to log in again once deleting the cache.
-Restart your PC and login to Steam. Once logged in, try to repair your storage folder, to do this open Steam client > click on Settings > Storage > click on the 3 dots on the top right > Repair Folder
-Perform a DISM/SFC [ubi.li] scan on your PC, as this will identify and repair any potential issues with your operating system.
- Launch Ubisoft Connect and Steam using admin rights [ubi.li] to ensure permissions are granted.

Should you then continue to have trouble or would like support in the future we can be contacted using the following methods
- Ubisoft Support Twitter [x.com]
- Ubisoft Support Discord [discord.com]
I also have the same issue, it just started after today’s update.
I had the same issue, I used DDU to remove all my drivers and reinstall, ever since then it went away, U might need to as well

Same error/issue. tried all of the above and mode. Broken since the patch and can't seem to get around it. Any chance there's a further update soon to unbreak this game?

Well fun fact is that I run the same driver on my 7900 XTX and never had any crashes yet on my old PC with the 5700 XT it always crashes.Probably they will fix it in the future updates.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

What worked for me was going to the local folder, right click on the executable file, select properties, and turn off « Read only ». Hope that helps someone else 😊

ReBAR was the issue.I had my old PC running in Legacy instead of UEFI.Now it’s ok.
