The 1.0.2 patch broke the game

Of course that was going to happen... Played perfectly fine since launch until this morning. I installed the patch less than a hour ago and now I can't get pass the Ubisoft logo when launching the game before it close itself... ♥♥♥♥ man, how is it that people aren't abble to fix bugs without breaking everything...?

for me its the opposite, last patch was a stuttery mess couldnt go 50 feet without the game freezing and graphics taking forever to load was just barely playable, after the new patch the game is silky smooth for me

I can't even get it to install at this point. I played last night. Went to play today and it kept telling me Disk Access error. I've tried everything. Reinstalled everything including Ubi Connect. Logged out of Ubi Connect and relogged with 2 Factor. Made sure to delete folders in the appdata folder so install would be fresh. Tried it on two different SSD's with plenty of space. Won't let me even get past trying to launch the game.

You need set way point on map and then activate path location while on horse.

The patch also reinstalled all the older upscaling/framegen dll's

After update, I can' no longer summon Allies. L2 on my controller is blank when press, dont see ally tab. Come on Ubisoft. Prior to update their was Rin quest that stopped saves, sprint and boost. Now with update I can no longer summon my allies in battle.

I had the same problem, even tried re-equipping them. The situation got resolved after I closed the game and started it back up.

I cannot even start the game up. Nothing happens and the ubi app just says the game is running.

Actually a problem as I pay per month and loose paid game time.

yeah, i had 0 crashes be4 patch (97 hours) now i experienced 1st crash during minigame as Yasuke when you have to shoot the targets

In order to resolve it, please start with verifying / checking integrity of the game files.
If needed, reinstall the game fully.

Close all unnecessary third-party applications running in the background, especially third-party overlays, communicators, system tweak tools and monitoring software. Disabling background applications on PC[www.ubisoft.com]

Delete the game configuration file (ACShadows.ini) and the cache folder that are saved in your Documents > Assassin's Creed Shadows folder.

Clear Steam Cache folder

Clear Ubisoft Connect PC Cache[www.ubisoft.com]
