Can't fight in combat

Game has been running fine past few days since I bought it.
Now this aft, once I go into combat with any weapon I can do one hit and that's it.
All I can do after the first h it is roll.

Searching here and reddit, others have had similar problems although, unlike myself and a few others, mostly with the tanto.

The fixes I've seen are getting on your horse, going in an out of melee+combo under the
Gameplay mode option, and a couple of other things, none of which work for me except to allow one more combat hit and then get locked out again.

Game over for me until Ubisoft fixes this or I figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Unless I just want to ride around and enjoy the pretty scenery.

I'm really sorry that all of a sudden, you can't fight in combat.

Have you tried resetting your keybinds in the game's options?

Are you playing the game with the controller or the keyboard? (Can you test the game using a different keyboard or a controller?)

If the issue persists, would you be able to send us a short video showcasing the issue in full for our teams to review?
