Assasin's Creed Shadow Choppy shadow bug

is it just me or anyone else encountering this problem? All settings at high, RTX 5070 ,I5 14400f. Game was running OK. Just this weird choppy bug appearing while swimming.

It's happening globally. unsure if it's the latest game patch. Nividia's latest update was working well all along since its release date.

Same with 5070 Ti I found a fix if you set Ray traced global illumination -> Diffuse Everywhere + specular but it cost more performance
