Terrible ghosting while DLSS is turned on
I tried use the settings without FG on and only turn on DLSS Quality.

The ghosting effects in the snowy season has the worst ghosting i ever seen. Is there any way to fix this issue? Does Nvidia or Ubisoft know about this?

My monitor is 1440p IPS 200hz refresh rate. Windows Display settings also set at 1440p at 200hz refresh rate.

PC Specs:
CPU: i7-14700KF
GPU: RTX 5080
RAM: 32GB RAM Dual Channel 6000 MT/s
Storage type (NVME / SSD, HDD): Ediloca EN855 M.2 SSD (Read 7400MB/s | Write 6800MB/s)

Can confirm. DLSS 4 through NVIDIA app enabled for me and it seems to make it worse.
CPU: 9800X3d
GPU: 4070 Super
RAM: 32gb DDR5
Storage: SSD
Win11 24H2

Monitor 165hz HDR OLED, all resolutions at 1440p

The effect is particularly bad with heavy fog in winter, extremely distracting

idk if it's me but I realized the ghosting was reduced significantly when I use default DLSS Preset E (CNN Model). Previously I used the Transformer model Preset K (latest). That's the one that caused huge ghosting effects.

Thank you for your replies and specifications.

I see you both use high refresh screens. Are you using G-Sync as well?
If yes, try disabling it and see if the ghosting improves.

Also, try lowering the refresh rate to 120Hz-144Hz for a test and try the game again.

G-Sync disabled because there was screen flickering.
It turns out the issue is DLSS Preset K (Transformer Model) was the problem. right now, I chose Preset E (CNN Model) the default version selected by AC Shadows. No Ghosting.

Hello Cupcake. Thank you for the information about Presets. I'm happy to hear that the issue has been resolved.
