change spoken language with steam version?

how can i change the spoken language of the steam version? in the ubisoft connect app it's not possible and ingame it says i should download it from the ubisoft app

Hmm. In the option in the in game menu I saw them. Iirc I was prompted at first boot up in game to select spoken language.

yes but if i try to change the language there it says i should download the language pack via the ubisoft app, but there is no setting for that for the steam version

Go to your game library, under Assassin's Creed Shadows,

Manage › Properties › General › Language

Once you select the language you want, Steam will start downloading the necessary files.
