Katano Castle Chest Not There

I've been playing a for a few nights and found my first glitch. Tried reloading a save and reloading the game entirely but no luck. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, I want that precious loot.

It happens sometimes, like the Samurai not appearing if you are on the the story where Mitsuhide is there. Best just leave and come back later. It's easy enough with the fast travel point.

Yes, in my version the chest does not exist. I also can not change between primary and secondary weapons. The game chooses to change the weapon I am using during fighting.

I have the same problem. the legendary chest in Katano Castle doesn't exist.
I tried coming back on a later season.. still same problem.

I see the icon but no chest to loot.

first the chest appeared but the samurai wouldn’t spawn. I came back later and the samurai spawned but not the chest.losing patience with the game a lil ngl

Found out you probably need to finish that story mission, I also was confused until I did a mission for the story for Katano.

Found out you probably need to finish that story mission, I also was confused until I did a mission for the story for Katano.

i hope it’s worked for you guys. unfortunately i’ve finished both missions surrounding the castle and i was still having the chest problem. i think im going to have to leave and try again later. :/

My chest isn't showing either, this stinks. hopefully they update this mission in the coming updates. I'm clearly in the room after killing the two samurai where the chest is supposed to be and it isn't there.

That is a Know bug with Tanto. If you equip one, and change to it you cant change back (or change gear at all) until you quit the game.
Only solution until Patch is to not have tanto equipped at all so you want accidentally change to one.

I am with you, brothers, faced with the first critical bug that spoils the passage of collecting legendary equipment. rolling back to early saves didn't help, the same problem when moving to the castle, there is no chest, and I don't understand at what point I caught this bug.

I read somewhere that you have to unlock Yasuke first before the chest is there. It's not there for me either, but I can't test it because I crash after the Oda scene...

That's not true, I found the chest long before I completed Act 1 to unlock Yasuke.

Same. Got it pretty early in the game.
