Loading delays and glitches

Hey all, I expected to see more discussion on this. Twice now, after maybe 5 hours after two clean installs, the game starts glitching out pretty hard, specifically the HUD will stop loading in, models are unloaded/deformed, talking to NPCs is severely delayed (minutes can pass after activating, running around HUDless), pulling up the map/interface becomes severely delayed, load-ins become very slow, and traveling between small regions causes a pause where camera is fully controllable but the models are all frozen. I'm playing on an RTX 5090 and generally top tier hardware, adjusting settings does nothing, clean install did nothing, drivers are up to date, only this game impacted. Anyone else having this experience or has heard of a solution?

Im having the same issue. First the hud disapears then the lagging and stuttering starts. When I load a Save file it goes away

same story here, i followed ubisofts trouble shooting tutorial and soft rebooted my computer. it worked and the game ran perfectly for a couple of hours. then i used the build mode in game and the same thing started happening again.
So to my understanding this glitch is either triggered by operating the build mode or it happens after a certain amount of play time. either way the game is 100% unplayable in this state and i hope ubisoft locks in and fixes this A$AP.

Happens to me too but after about 20 minutes, probably because I'm on slightly older hardware. Happens even without using build mode.

Hi all, I also had the same issue and I found out it was because I had the game on my G drive instead of my C drive. I don’t know if that’s the case for y’all too, but I’d say it’s worth a shot if possible!

I installed the game on my C drive already and the problems still there. I honestly have no clue what it is at this point.

I hate so say it man but I’ve been looking around like crazy this whole weekend, looks like they might be no permanent fix. We might just have to wait until Ubisoft adresses and fixes it themselves. Worst comes to worse I might have be a Karen and ask for a refund. The games 100% unplayable like this.

Based on a post on another thread I disabled G-Sync in Nvidia Settings and swapped my install to my other hard drive, and it seems fixed so far. I'll post again if it's re-broken.
Edit for clarity: My install was on my C drive, and I swapped it to an external SDD.

I checked files integrity and so far it fixed my issues, all textures now load normally and my character doesn't freeze anymore

Hi, im currently experiencing the same issue as well. Have tried moving game to another SSD, however, same issue persists. As of now, I have to keep verifying file integrity whenever it happens. Even so, it might not be fixed as well, and it consistently happens.

Really hope theres a solution to this, as it is really getting very annoying.

Its so weird people have issues like this in the game. Mine runs great, no artefacts, delays, glitches (ok, once in a random while some physics can glitch a little bit)
4090 on Old (pre 50-series) Studio drivers.

same issue here.Everything works fine initially, but over time the HUD begins to lag after opening the menu/map and exiting, followed by textures starting to load slowly, until the game ultimately freezes while waiting for texture streaming.

I am sorry that you're experiencing this problem when playing. In general we recommend to install the game on the same drive used to install Ubisoft Connect, ideally on an SSD or NVMe drive in order to meet the game's minimum requirements available here[www.ubisoft.com]

If your system meets or exceeds the min requirements, could you please let me know if the following workaround works for you as well?

Also, when the problem starts to occur, could you please check the video settings page in the game options menu to verify if the VRAM is full?
