OMEN GAMING HUB - SOLUTION for crash on startup / memory addon crash

in 99 out of 100 attempts at trying to launch the game I either crashed or got stuck at memory addon. then when I did get ingame I always crashed at the Heads will Roll mission where you enter a cutscene triggered by a anima distortion.

I solved it for me, game ALWAYS launches normally now and cutscenes in game dont make me ctd.

what worked for me is the following:
Ive got a HP Omen game PC, and with it a program called: Omen Gaming Hub

Apparently Omen gaming hub was boosting and optimalizing my games including Assassins's Creed Shadows.
I disabled the boosting from gaming hub and since then ive got 0 problems starting the game. ive tested for at least 10 times in a row and game starts fine now and also no crashes so far in game.

So perhaps others are running gaming hub as well or different booster programs that conflict with the game.

Oh wow, thank you so much. I've been experiencing the exact same struggle since launch and this fixed it 100% for me as well. I own an Omen 45L and the booster was enabled in Omen Gaming Hub (never experienced an issue with this before). With the booster mode disabled, I haven't experienced any more crashes on launch (either the 93% issue, the post splash screen one, or the game not launching at all)

You are the goat. Also on an omen and I kept crashing going into the portal. I have tampered with everything and this was my fix. Really appreciate you brother.
