Instant CTD when the video cutscene finishes playing after the boss fight against Oda Nobunaga. No error code or anything else. Game just instantly closes. "Vaya con Dios, my friend" indeed.

Ultra Core i9 285k, RTX 4090, 48GB 8800MT/s RAM, Samsung 990 Pro NVMe M.2

Have also had crashes with the code DX12 0X887A0005, but those are 1-2 hours apart and the game runs fine after restarting, but I can't get past the crash after this boss fight at all.

same here, Have the game on ubi app. Also getting the same hard CTD trying to help the Yaya girl. I'm locked out of any progression at this point

same here, yaya mission & this oda mission too, i really do not want to start a fresh save

Hey guys, sorry to hear that after completing this mission Assassin's Creed Shadows crashes without any error.

To troubleshooting this crashing, would it be possible to complete the steps below.

- Ensure your PC meets all system requirements [www.ubisoft.com] for Assassin's Creed Shadows including using an SSD.
- Try to have both the game and Ubisoft Connect and Steam on the same drive
- Perform a clean boot [support.microsoft.com] to ensure that a 3rd party app is not interfering.
- Complete the steps in our dedicated troubleshooting guide [ubi.li]

Should this then persist, would it be possible to share your system specs?

I've done all those steps.

My specs are as follow

AMD 7800XT

I9-12900K

64GB DDR5 Ram

Game is installed on a ssd "have tried reinstalling on a second ssd"

64GB ram on 6000Mhz

Same also happens when killing last npc in the Yaya Mission mission.
Both seem to be bugged for my save.

honestly every single response from ubi support is this... like please ubi actually take this issue seriously... game is amazing but this issue is killing it and they dont seem to care all that much...

i also get the 0x887a0005 error when im playing after 3-5 hours... think someone said could be related to shaders crashing... or something
so this mission and the yaya happens on console and pc even cloud gaming. they need to fix it asap i thought it was only on pc but nope.

yeah its crazy im also just completly blocked from playing the game. shame, i as postivly surprised at first but all the crashes and now this full stop really made it a bad experience.

I am only playing on Ubi Connect and I am having the same issue after both the Yaya mission and the Oda mission.
