Ubisoft Connect bought, same problems with the game no longer launching

Played for 4 hours yesterday without any problems. have manual and automatic saves. this morning the game kept either hanging at 93% connecting online or crashing straight away at the connecting online message.

A suggestion said deleting save games, or atleast moving them seemed to work, I was able to play again. I did however need to log out for a bit and well you guessed it, im no longer able to start the game again.

The connecting crash has returned and moving / removing save games dont work no more. Removing ACshadows[options].save and .save.upload makes the game start up onto the first boot setup screen only to crash again straight after conferming the settings.

correct, and its very random.. I can start the game all of a sudden without having changed anything and then after next crash or whatever Im back into crashing at start up

and to add some extra insult, ive managed to get as far as the Heads will roll Mission, where you first encounter a anima glitch. Supposedly it should start a cutscene and after that you're in a battle.. but no the moment I touch the glitch ( I have to , to proceed ) my game crashes.

so im somewhat in a nasty loop here.. 10 attempts + at launching the game and when it finally succeeds I crash triggering a story progressing quest...

I get just past the portal and talk to the guide but then I crash...I thought the game was bugged so I tried another mission and I was able to do it just fine....I'm just crashing here and same I'm also on Ubisoft connect

in game i get to the portal i press the action button and meet the "guide" again and right after that cutscene that i can't skip crash to desktop.
