Disappearing Health / HUD / "Player info"

The "player info" section of the HUD disappeared!

It first happened after I left the game running on a death screen for about a half hour. Upon reloading, the entire HUD had disappeared. After restarting the game, all other HUD information has returned, but the "player info" - health and such - has not returned!

I troubleshooted some more by starting a new game. Upon reaching the first playable section, the "player info" section was back! I quickly reloaded my old save... and the "player info" section is gone again. I also reloaded an earlier save for the same first playthrough, and it didn't have the "player info" either.

I have made sure that "player info" is enabled.

I've submitted a bug ticket on the official Ubisoft site, but I'm making a topic here to see if anyone found a workaround in the meantime.

Update: It's back now. I have no idea what I did, but it's showing back up when I enter battle like it's supposed to. Very weird. Still, something to keep an eye out for, I think.
