Didn't happen for me before patch
I am sorry that you're experiencing this problem since the hotfix was released.
I would like to investigate this further. Could you please let me know the following info:
- PC Specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, Windows version)
- Screen resolution and refresh rate
- GPU drivers version
- Are you using any third party antivirus/firewall?
- Have you attempted any troubleshooting steps?
@Sakuro thank you for sharing this workaround!
I would also like to ask if you experience this issue as soon as you start the game or after playing for a while and if this issue becomes more or less evident, depending on the season.
Thank you.
Thank you for your Answer.
Still have some freezes with this option but you will find the information bellow :
- I7-14700K for the CPU
- RTX 3080 with the last drivers installed
- 32 gb of RAM
- 4k resolution with DLSS on quality and frame generation on at 60 ips.
- No extra firewall with the last windows 11 up to date.
I did not have this issues with the first update (day one). I tried different settings lowering them but did not succeed. Just put the game on high priority with the task manager and lowering the terrain virtual texture seem to help...
- 14900k, 4090 OC, 64gb ram
- 3440 x 1440 @240hz (getting 120fps average)
- game ready driver 572.83
- I have Bitdefender
- I have tried verifying files. I have tried the usual restarts of the pc. I have tried changing settings.
