Pushed out onto steam at the "proof of concept" stage, would probably have been fun with a bit more effort.

Unless you want to play against soul-less bots in a dark and dreary arena style deathmatch, this game will offer you absolutely nothing. No campaign, no decent gameplay, no depth. Nothing.

So bad, I have permanently removed it from my library.

An extremely simple top-down deathmatch shooter against bots. No story or single player campaign of any kind. Just spawn on arena, shoot bots, repeat. There are a few weapons to pick up. It is not badly made but unless you are a real hardcore fan of these kind of games there is nothing this game has to offer.

The game claims there is online multiplayer, but you won't be able to find another players because it has been completely dead for years. Last time it had more than 2 players online was last July according to Steamcharts.

Daedalus - No Escape is a top down 2D co-op arena/survival shooter with a sci-fi theme. Use a variety of weapons and pick up health. The game has a very very low TTK so it's all twitch gameplay. The only type of gameplay is botmatches. The game does play smoothly even though it does have engine problems.

The game is written at least partially in Java, so it runs incredibly inefficiently. The time it took me to play through all of the available gameplay (not much, but that's a problem too) I probably spent more on electricity running some of my CPUs at 100% than I paid for the game. Anyway, given botmatches don't really count as any gameplay content, there's not much here.

Aiming is clunky, game is somewhat unpleasant to play.

TLDR: Deathmatch vs bots only. No solo content. Outcompeted even by free offers. Check out SAS Zombie Assault 4 or Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop.

Has resolution support. Xbox360 pad was not working out of box. Game has over a dozen maps all reusing same visual assets. Only way to play is in deathmatch against bots. The killing spree announcer and the electronic music audio, as well as good blood splatters were all welcome. Weaponry looked iconic of quake. Unfortunately without a storymode and no real solo content, as well as the dead multi and there is not much to enjoy here. I did get an evening out of messing around with the bots but it wasnt all that entertaining and they arent all that smart.

This game IS NOT quake 3's baby. The graphics and gameplay pretty much look alike to a game called "Infantry" created by Sony in about 12 years ago. Unfortunately this game is even worst than the game "Infantry" because the character you are playing on the map is just a walking logo. While "Infantry" can still see your own soldier's walking and running animation.

All the maps are feature inside a certain facility! It sure didn't look like you are lost in space.

The gameplay is great as long as there are at least 10 people condense in a narrow corridor while bullets are flying everywhere. So 1 vs 1 in this game is boring.

Cool game but dead multiplayer.
