Maybe there's some other alternative like "sublimis" or "deus illumino" or something (I don't know Latin conjugations)
It was used as a battle cry for the crusade, but it was used even more outside of the context.
They dont need to change it, its fine. If you think its problematic, its not a problem with it, its a problem with how you are thinking, respectfully.
Rather then coming here and saying its a problem, stop and think, why do you think its a problem, in the context of the game, is it a problem? Who told you it was problematic? Why do THEY think its problematic?
Its fine, it should stay in the game, because of one simple reason, Deus Vault, God Wills it.
99% of the time i have ever heard this outside of a religious context is a meme way of saying "Send it."
anyways at least in the USA, we all are slaves to taxes. we have to be making money and spending it to live. Which is fine, however the cost of living and the bills we pay gives us little room to spend on things we want. the poor class are slaves to the rich. so if a wealthy person is going to complain about racism, they are hypocritical. where's our free money for being poor?
so imo this game is either evil or influenced by it. however Cuphead is far more evil. there is zero influence on that ouji-level creepiness.
Deus Vult! May the Demon fall to righteous fury!
