Can I Get a Progress Update?
I was one of the early adopters (Epic Store). I put in around 70 hours or so back then (mention my name to the devs, they'll sigh and roll their eyes). I complained a lot. Eventually though, I realized everything I was complaining about just kept getting worse and worse with each update, because that's the game they were trying to make. And most people seemed to agree with their vision. And while I am happy to see this game at Very Positive, I'm surprised by how few have purchased it. I predicted the opposite. May I ask a few questions?

1. What do you like about the game?
a.
b.
c.

2. What do you not like about the game?
a.
b.
c.

I stopped playing after the Ghost Galleon Update (I think it was). I'm curious to know if the likes and complaints today are the same as ours were back then. Has the game improved in some areas since then? Do the weapon ranges still suck? Is the leveling system still useless even though the game is built around a leveling system? Are Calamities still great/annoying? Is it still repetitive and boring or just right? Just stuff like that guys. I predicted that a lot of people, like me, would see that Van Helsing knockoff trailer and buy the game thinking it was something else. 950,000 mixed reviews. But I see it's the opposite. Curiosity.

NOTE: I know I could just reinstall it and see for myself, but... it's on the Epic Store, remember. 10mbps downloads. No forums. No reviews. You know the drill.

*UPDATE* I have since downloaded and played Witchfire. It is no longer the game I remembered. It has improved a great deal since last I played. As has Epic Store. Rather than the typical 10mbps cap I was used to, it was hitting 300mbps. Some of my knowledge was out of date.

1. What do you like about the game?
a. Gunplay, overall feel of shooting is very pleasant, sound
b. Game climate. setting game
c. Gamplay loop

2. What do you not like about the game?
a. I can not knock down any barrel, shelf, cart, there is no destruction of the environment everything is made of “concrete”. No changeable weather, day and night cycle
b. Not many maps, version 1.0 will have 6 of them but that's still not enough. I hope for some paid xpack after the game's release.
c. I don't feel, the growth of my character

Pretty much the same as the above post. ^
I'm still fairly new and low level (32G1) and taking it slow so I havent seen much of anything yet.

1. What do you like about the game?
a. Gunplay/Combat feels and sounds great. I like the mix of Guns & Magic.
b. I like the Dark Age setting and atmosphere.
c. Game loop is fun.

2. What do you not like about the game?
a. Small maps.
b. Too few maps especially at lower Gnosis.
c. Timed Dungeons (Vaults). I dont like anything on a timer. I like to take my time and dont want to be rushed. (*unless faster completion time = better loot)
d. No change in Day/Night Cycle or Weather except at Hermitorium. Combat at night during a rainstorm would be intense and awesome.

Over-all I really enjoy the game even though for me it's Hard AF.
I guess the difficulty is what really keeps me coming back.
I want to git gud and beat the Witch.

I think one issue is that some treat the game as an end product yet it is far from complete. Games in EA are subject to burnout because some folks can speed run through a game without savoring the taste of that first bite. I have been taking my time perfecting my skills in playing this thing. I very much enjoy it and would like for it to succeed upon full release. Specifically coming from playing Destiny 1 religiously, I needed a game like this that could be played solo and offline.

1. What do you like about the game?
a. Weapons/weapon upgrade system (but weapons need visual embellishments for M3 tiers similar to Angelus)/mixing magic spells/gunplay
b. Grim Dark setting/environments
c. I like the separation between the Ascension and Gnosis systems, when it comes to leveling and increasing difficulty.

2. What do you not like about the game?
a. Main character design. Wish the game had armor sets, visual customization at the very least, or different character models to play instead of starting templates of the same character.
b. Combat ranges are aggressively taxed. They want you to get up close and personal. Ranged characters seem less supported.
c. Day/Night weather cycling. I agree with OGPG on this one. It would make the game world feel more "alive" when revisiting locations and more exciting during combat scenarios.

It would be nice to see bigger maps. The cycle of day and night, changing weather I think would not be a big problem to implement. It would be great to see that in this game. I also miss the snow map. On higher Gnosis I would also like to go back to the first maps, for example Island of the Damned where it would be much more challenging on the surface. New events, more powerful enemies. Support for mods!

1. What do you like about the game?

a. Its a hardcore PVE shooter No PVP elements
b. The gunplay and spells and all around combat is done well
c. The horror / fantasy theme is awesome

2. What do you not like about the game?

a. The difficulty can be insane at some parts, just unlocked witches island and the labyrinth is nuts
b. Multiplayer PVE would be a nice addition to even out the difficulty
c. More maps, more bosses, more demi bosses (like the drowned captain) More of everything reall which will come with time.

This is the best game ive played in awhile for one it actually works, i can play on almost max and i have no had 1 crash, ocassionaly there is lag but other than that no issues performance wise. The gameplay is great, the challenge is good im actually really surprised i was expecting alot of issues with this when i first bought it but its one of the most solid games ive played on PC.

I think I was pushing through Gnosis too fast when I first started. Think I am on Gnosis 3 and only just reached lvl30 lol

I just now hit 50 and moved to G2. I think it's better to get some of your stats up before increasing the difficulty.

Please stick to the format all. Steam awards from me await you if you do. This is for my own curiosity, and maybe useful for the devs (who observe the threads) to easily see what people like and don't like about the game.

We're continuously gathering feedback from multiple channels and while this is sort of a new take on the question, it does not receive extra attention from us - we approach it as yet another feedback thread. And, frankly, I have no idea what award do you have in mind but don't make promises on our behalf, please and thank you.

EDIT: It's now clear that you meant steam awards, thanks for clarification.

Steam Awards. Notice how everyone who stuck to the format received a Steam award from me? Not speaking on behalf of development team in any way. This is merely curiosity for me, and maybe helpful for you. Nothing more.

1. What do you like about the game?
a. Gunplay and combat
b. The environment and the visuals are amazing
c. Gameplay loop

2. What do you not like about the game?
a. Timed vaults -- I have completed them multiple times, but I felt frustrated while doing so
b. Calamities in vaults, especially assassins in the Irongate Castle vault
c. I miss a control light spell, like controlling a minor enemy for x amount of time

I really like this game and I play it often after a new update. I would like to see more spells with control or summoning effect, and it would be great if the Rotten Fiend follows the player when there are no enemies in the area.
