Stutters and crashes after last update

Hi, have anyone else experienced crashes, lags, stutters after the last update? Bought this game a week or so ago and fully completed it without a single bug or any other problems, but after the last update the game first crashed at the end of the tower after I killed the boss with erasing all the last 30 minutes of progress, then I went to the coast and nearly fully cleared it and then received 1 FPS and the funny thing is, when I opened menu it returned to normal 70+ and let me change the settings but nothing helped, and then I quited,restarted and the game crashed again on the castle map just near the entrance

my 99% lows have been really bad lately after last patch. no problems before. so maybe

Have you tried verifying game files?
I had this happen to me after the last patch where if I would look at the apothecary then it would stutter an insane amount and then crash. I validated files and 1 failed to validate and after that it was fixed.
Your case sounds a little different so maybe it won't fix anything but couldn't hurt?

Im getting crazy stuttering and frame drops now. Just with witchfire after update. Benchmark tools and other games play as per normal. i5 11600l 3080ti. Played great before update, now almost unplayable
