Tower = final boss ?
The reason im asking is... Is it really possible ?

On gnozis 4 i`ve passed 2 floors and ... -75% to damage, -to life, - ability to use special weapon, - several healing potions, etc. How i have to reach the goal if the game brings the basic "theme" to nothing ?)) I mean - is there any way not to f@ck brains by choosing "what else i can sacrifice for a boss fight i never just seen before"?)))

Not only possible, but once you understand the Wailing Tower, its pretty much doable every try. I'll admit, I've failed too on my first couple of runs, and I will agree that corrupted arcana works against roguelite part of the game.
If you've passed 2 floors, then you should have exactly two punishment arcanas (if you are not going for extra divine essence, that is), since to progress to the next floor you need only the green crystal's arcana. If you struggle with ammo so much that you need to get extra supply from a corrupted pedestal, then you should reconsider your loadout.
The general tactic would be using the prophecies to position your most important arcana types in the last 4 slots, i.e. ammo, health, stamina, since your first three slots will be replaced by corrupted arcana.
As for corrupted arcana, avoid like plague those that disable your demonic weapon or either one of your primaries, your relic, fetisch or spells. My favourite corrupted to get are the one that disables the ring, melee attack, does one time damage, and reduces max ammo.

Consider bringing with you the Burning Stake with Stormball spells combo, it will save a ton of ammo, also buy ammo packs in advance. Falling Star demonic weapon works wonders against the boss, use it in the first and the last phase, since you will be further away from him this way. Eye of the Mad Woman is great here too. The primary weapons is up to you, however I personally find that mid/close range weapons works best since we are fighting in a closed quarters. For the record, I assume that since you are on Gnosis 4 you have most of the equipment upgraded to 3rd Mysterium.

Last but not least, you can waste a lot of ammo if you don't get each floor's "gimmick", so do you understand them?

Well... i think taking gmozis 4 was a mistake 4 me: im 87 lvl now i can hardly clear 2 "skull marks" on the 3-d map (castle): guns must have at least +30% firepower to feel comfortable - there are too many of them + they all are armored. And - inspite of the 3-d opened ability almost for all guns - i can say that only 3-4 weapons are trully good for gnosis 3 and uper (in compare with damage dealeling). Map 2 is now pleasure to play... Maybe it was a good idea to clear tower at earlier gnosis.. hmm..
Gmozis 4, -75 damage, My man!!!
Did your setup fully upgraded?
What weapon are you using?

Subjectively, there are some weapons that perform better than others, but I'd say all of them can clear maps on Gnosis 4. Its worth mention that relics and spells are a huge part of a successful run, so don't overlook them.
I'm curious, what's your loadout?

Its really important to choose the right curses.
Any curses that are -current ammo or -current hp are amazing because they are a short term loss instead of long term.
Also, i like to focus curses on a primary or secondary weapon, so i have 1 normal weapon and 1 demonic.
I would also suggest clearing the island first, its possible that the 7th arcana will accompany you even against the boss.

Other than that... git gud.
Unless you want some cheese that is.
First floor can be easily cheesed by jumping on wooden platforms so enemies cant reach you.
On teleporting floor you can search for some safe spots and you can do the totem event earlier, which can be activated during the dream for healing.
On the floor with pentagrams, ice sphere is goat (ice sphere is goat against the boss as well)

Just remember to take some ammo packs.
And since in last update the combination of the incense that reduces chances of breaking shield combined with relic that gives shield and reduces chances of losing a shield on higher level is just incredible. You can have up to 5 shields and upon being hit you only have 1/3 chaces of actually losing a stack, so you are very tanky.
Finally did the tower. (GN 3 and level 48) Used the good old pistol, crossbow, the sniper rifle, fireballs and ice dome. Even managed to pick up my corpse in the final phase (turns out running out of ammo one shot before the kill is bad!)

This one was by far the hardest fight to do. By far.

I thought it was stupid difficult my first few times and since then I found it *relatively* easy. The big thing for me was to make sure I had max ammo and max(or nearly max) elixirs before even entering. Picking at least one effective aoe ability is a must. Save all your demonic ammo for the final boss.

Never pick up corrupted arcana for ammo or elixir unless you have to(demonic ammo one is actually super good as it fills it to the max and you can just dps the boss down). Always check what arcana will be replaced before doing so. Sometimes the arcana you're replacing has little to no relevance on the power level of your build. Always save your feathers for the later arcana slots so you don't replace 2-3 perks when they get corrupted. Leveled up weapons/spells is a must. You should not under any circumstances level your gear using wailing tower because you'll just die.

When picking corrupted arcana, avoid ones that remove demonic ammo. 25% damage reduction ones are good to get, as well as movement based ones like no double jump. Rings and relics are good depending on your build. Avoid ones that halve your ammo reserves or gets rid of ability to fire, those are run losing typically.

Two big notes: monks are not very threatening so don't waste any ammo on them until all other enemy types are dead. When corrupting arcana, you do not have to pick a debuff unless you want to progress in the tower. You have to pick a debuff for the green arcana crystal but not if you want to refill ammo and elixirs.

The tower boss is pretty easy. And gives some really good prophesies too. Dead Eyes, is the best one of all. Honestly, the whole tower is easier than the whole of Irongate Castle imo. Irongate can drop into a burning pit and never return. Will take the tower any day than the castle.

Just avoid things that are detrimental to your character. Such as weakened spells, or less primary damage, et cetera. Or lose double jump, as double jump is pretty handy for the boss.
Def the least straightforward one so far
take rotweaver or cricket for close range.
take hangfire for mid to long range.

severed ear will give you breathing room if you get caught/swarmed
henbane is OP
shadowmist ring is elite for doing damage and keeping yourself peeled
take the incense that gives max health per humanisation and collect all 7 before attempting the boss fight

burning stake and stormball when thrown out together will one shot enemies.

once you get the prophet to the final stage (second astral realm) unload falling star into it and it will die.

You will win +90% of the time with this strat
my preset: Psychopomp, Striga, Falling Star;
Firebreath, Rotten Fiend;
Henbane, Ring of Thorns, and any offencive relic you like. I often choose Blood of Banshee or Braid Of Seductress but it won't matter.

Point is to clear all 3 levels just only using melee, firebreath, and shotgun. Killing by melee regenerate your bullets, killing from firebreath and shotgun regenerate melee, so you don't lose your ammo at all. No more than 10 Striga shots are made until boss. If you feel bad at level 2 - use your Fiend or Striga.

If you feel bad about using the Rift - have a liquid witchfire drop in inventory. It will help you to run away from fiends to safe zone, which is tower riddle chamber. Enemy won't come in. Also, you can leave some elixiers on the isle before entering Tower, so when you jump in the rift, you can find them again.
Before the rift there are HORDES of madmen you can slay, so 1% additional chance of elixier drop can help you. Also healing thing in slot of henbane (forget the name of it again), it can heal you up to 50%, what could be good enough if you use Wellspring Incence.

Or... don't waste your time, HP and elixiers, just jump into Rift for 20 seconds twice, and nevermind. If four Prophecies in Astral are taken, and no elixiers and any healing are dropped on the isle, you won't need the Rift.

You got 3 corrupted arcana. The best corrupts is: to lose ammo of shotgun (main/secondary depends on your package), elixiers, and offencive relic. You are not needed either have enoug of it for the boss. The worst are lose back movement, lose doublejump, and max stamina and HP. Damage and ammo matter less cause thy are compensated by additional ammo, you can simply buy consumable pack of ammo.

Boss should be shot by your Demonic first. Then after finding yourself in circle of monks, you summon Rotten Fiend, take Striga, and shoot until you see boss again. It isn't really hard to avoid ANY damage at this stage. Repeat it until you see boss show his wings. Then I usually use Fiend or Goliath Preyer, and just kill him with no Minor enemy interruption.

The only hard thing is flying cultists, annoyingly tenant and little enough to be missed by your bullet. Just train cilling them once more, you 'll learn of how kill it.

Not that hard as you say. It may take one or two try to train the method, but in result you become invincible towermen torturer.
