My feedback after finishing EA content <3
Hi! Just done current content, would like to share some feedback.

Overall, game is great, totally deserves great reviews, i wouldnt mind if it's cost was 60$ like AAA blockbuster. It's so good so it healed my gaming impotence, no joking. It is a great shooter, great roguelike, atmosphere made by visuals and audio is beautiful, so thank you a lot, devs <3.

Here is some points i consider could make this game even better.

Weapons:
1. Echo's mechanic feels boring comparing to other weapons, it just empowers your shots and you dont have to something specific to be good with this weapon
2. Striga is super-fun to play with but completely overpowered, makes other weapons useless. I am happy i found door to collector and Striga only on 29 hour of playing. Few suggestions: make hip fire less precise to force us use ADS, make it harder to hit foes on huge distance or at least cut ammo reserves.
3. Hailstorm 2 upgrade is very boring and disappointing. I suggest change it to "Every third consecutive hit replenished 1 bullet for ammo reserves, because now it feels that reserve is too low, even with such firepower.
4. Hangfire mechanic is very interesting but damage is bit low.
5. Hypnosis takes little too long to charge up, makes it significantly weaker than similar All-Seeing Eye

Also here is few weapons mechanic ideas
1. Weapon with only few bullets so you should grab them from enemy corpse midfight
2. RMB creates prism, LMB shoots projectiles that become stronger when they flight through prism
3. Weapon that fires ball that bounce from target and can be relaunched at enemy by touching it
4. RMB creates slow "bomb" projectile, LMB shoots fast weak projectile that explodes bomb

Relics:
1. Eye of the Madwoman is terribly overpowered. I think i'ts effect should has cooldown or something. I dont need any other relic while i have this.
2. Book of serpents, braid of seductress - i think it's bad gamedesign idea, to offer me to rely on something that expects me to get damage to work. I am trying to get no damage at all, so such items feel very useless to me (of course, maybe its just me)

Fetishes:
1. Henbane feels overpowered, makes useless other fetishes and healing power stat of preyer. Suggestion: maybe it should not affect healing from coagulated witchfire? It heals so much so i dont need use elixir after clearing enemy spot.
2. Beladonna feels weak and unpleasant to use.
3. Bittersweet nightshade, mandrake, balewort - also items that expect me to get damage to work, for me it's useless.

Rings:
1. All rings but crown of fire feel too weak, they dont change game when you get new
2. I didnt get ring of obedience at all, maybe its just me
3. For me it was too hard to kill enemy frozen with ring of thorns to get replenishing orb. I would freeze them for longer time, but maybe its just for specific weapons

Few other things
1. It felt too easy to research all weapons in workshop, i would made gold cost for researches bit higher.
2. Farming incantations is also too easy. I got 10 third incantations while doing all tasks to unlock weapon's third upgrade
3. I was very disappointed when figured that there is no riddle in mushroom circle ritual)) i thought i should like eat right mushrooms to get loot or smth
4. I would raise white feathers quantity a little
5. There is lot of interesting-to-play-with arcanes, but i get same boring stuff all the time. Something wrong with arcanes random
6. We need ability to remove prophecies!
7. I was unable to figure vestal flame without googling
8. Calamity mechanic feels bit dumb. It's like additional challenge, but i dont get it if i play good, i only get additional challenge if i was bad enough. Wouldnt it be more fair if calamity bar progress when you clear enemy spots? Like witch is reacting to your successful actions with attempt to kill you? It would also fix absurdly situation when we get damage on purpose to summon calamity and get precious white feathers.
9. I think calamity difficulty should also raise with gnosis levels, because it becomes too easy when you used to it. I dont afraid of it at all anymore.
10. Sad that gnosis level affects first location difficulty, would be nice to replay it with more deadly enemies

Hey. I agree with a lot of what you have to say here. Especially about Henbane, which I hate to say cause I use it, but I'm 99% sure it's just better. There are a few things I feel other people may disagree with you on, I know awhile ago some people where on here talking about Hypnosis being the best weapon in the game. 1 recurring theme that I personally really like is "I don't want to take damage, why does this only trigger when I take damage?" I have also steered clear from anything that expects me to play that way. My build is incredibly frail so I can't say for sure but I assume even Tankier Builds aren't actively trying to take damage in this game but who knows. Maybe there is a way to make it work that I didn't see.

With the Fetishes, I personally hope they just make the other ones stronger and don't nerf Henbane.

For the weapons I suck at the Striga, but I main Cricket so maybe I needed more time to get used to it and used to not fighting face to face. I completely agree with the Echo. Too easy to use. Also the new mechanic ideas are cool. Saw some Unreal Tournament in there, hell yea.

The Eye of the Mad woman is really strong, but IDK. When I play it rarely triggers. When I 1st started the Eye could carry a fight but I actually switched to the Kirfane it triggers more often for me now.

I also can not get Ring Of Obedience to do anything. I think Crown of Fire is a great ring but imho Ring of Wings is great for fast moving mobile builds who want to get close.

While I think it would be really cool to be able to go the 1st island and fight the harder enemies, that island is Salvation for any player that levels Gnosis to quickly and needs to get some run in to level their char or their guns. Plus when we go back we get to run the tower, so there is still a reason to come back. I do think it's crucial not to effectively lock out players who raise Gnosis too fast, tho maybe there is another way to do that and we can have it both ways.

Oh man, happy to see I'm not the only one who thinks it's OP. The way you can clear a crowd of enemies at its level 3 from a distance with a couple of crits is just insane. Not to mention the 'infinite' range. Love it, mind you, some great painkiller memories - but dammnnn.

Striga's great but only really past medium range so you can get both fire and lightning on a single shot every shot, yeah you can use it at close range but it's easy to get overwhelmed. Belladonna feels good, honestly. It's not broken OP or anything, but it does its job well, and pairing it with the Scourge relic lets you survive far more mistakes that would normally end your run.
