I'd like to know how anyone can survive in this game at all?
I go into the only mission that I can ever access and get blasted to death constantly. Lose everything worth anything at all and it's absolute bs. Any actual tips ?

The main mechanic to understand is dashing while looking at an enemy to reveal the orbs around it, then shooting those orbs to stun the enemy. Stunned enemies seem to take more damage, so stun them and then quickly eliminate them.

Frankly, that mechanic against Familiars confuses me a bit, as I've shot a ton of their orbs to never earn a stun, but your gear can be good enough to kill them without worrying about that if you find yourself confused like me.

Other than that, it is very much a game where upgrading your gear/levels greatly increases your chances of survival. Knock out a few easy runs, upgrade your gear, and then you'll find that same section easier.

Early on, you don't have much of a chance, so the focus should be on obtaining as much witchfire and gold as you can, which will help you level up and research weapons/spells/trinkets. In the beginning, it's a bit of a grind but you have to continue pushing forward to get "stronger" first before taking on the tougher challenges. Plan your attack routes and fight as many enemy camps as you can. Then, get out to extract the loot you gained. Fully research all of your equipment before taking on bosses and challenges. A veteran player was also kind enough in compiling lots of helpful tips on reddit. Give it a look over when you can:

1. Dont trigger few enemy groups at the same time. Ambush one group at a time.
2. Stamina is the most important stat in the whole game. Learn to dodge.
3. Learn maps and enemy behaviour.
4. Sometimes its better to step into the portal/run away instead of fighting.

Some of the weapon upgrades and spells you earn as you play are incredibly powerful. I really struggled for a while when all I had were pistols and a couple spells I didn't like much.
My favorites are the Echo shotgun, the Grenadier summon, and the Fireball spell. finding a loadout I was comfortable with was a massive gamechanger.

Yes, but it teaches you bad habits: to get hit. Severed ear, Beladonna and Ring of wings is my personal favourite combo. Ring of wings is the best ring in the game.
There is also combo in spells such as combining freezing and fire on enemies which would cause a stagger and a good amount of damage onto them.

But I think for starters is to get the cursed bell which is a heavy spell that you can use to stun minor enemies for a good short while.

Be sure to upgrade your stamina, your witch-fire gain and your ability to use more spells often in the ascension shrine. Those three can be more important then health, health recovery from potions, and luck.

perfect , i just plaxyed the first hour of the game and the first things i upgrade was health xDDD
I've run into situations where the 'dangerous areas' spawn too closely together and all trigger at the same time. All while there are traps strewn all through the area, making the clearing of these areas borderline impossible. The best fix I've found for this is to go to a different map until I level up, and then the RNG moves all of the spawns to a different area.

There is an item re-arranging the defences - placebo pill. Also, its doable with proper build like utilizing Burning Stake.

Anyway, once you get used to the game you basically dont die at all and the games becomes pretty easy (at least here at Gnosis III, lvl 36 im unstoppable). IDK maybe it gets harder at Gnosis IV.

I don't have a ton of time in the game, but you don't HAVE to do the entire map in one go. You can get some loot and extract, lv up, and then go back until you're more comfortable with the game.

Hi, some tips from me:

• great weapons for me: Echo shotgun, Hailstorm sniper riflle - the first for close encounters, very powerful, explosive pellets and burning enemies after upgrades, second, perfect for long shots, after upgrades, most of lesser and medium enemies one shoted.
• spells: light: Stormball, heavy Burning Stake - cast Stake first and then Stormball on enemies, devastating combo, the stake explosions wiping out everything in mere seconds.
• relic - Eye of Madwoman - OP as hell, frying enemies on brink of death.
• fetish - Henbane - huge boost to healing elixirs.
• ring - Shadowmist ring - turn dashes into ligh weapon but on 3rd mysterium, they have 50% chance to freeze enemies.

Hope it helps...
Is like some player can't even get past dark soul first boss.

Also, strange such player never aware YouTube exist and watch how other player play the game
