If they can do that. That would be amazing!
Okay, I’ll have to use my Dualsense again with vibration from sounds through third-party programs until they make a native vibration.
This is also quite pleasant, and sometimes even better than the native vibration.
Which program are you using if I may ask?
I don't know about that but Witchfire is an unfinished game, which is why it is in Early Access. We will add vibrations later on for sure. Some of us exclusively play on the controller and we won't let this feature be forgotten
Yes, I mostly use VoiceMeeter, a great free program.
A little guide if you need it:
1. The Dualsense connection must be wired.
2. In Voicemeeter, set the hardware OUTs (A1, A2) to Dualsense MME speakers and standard MME speakers (Realtek HD).
For me it's like this: https://ibb.co/hHzFV2B
3. In Windows Settings, change the output device to VoiceMeeter Input (instead of Standard Speakers).
4. After connecting/reconnecting the controller to the PC via wire, you always need to restart VoiceMeeter (RMB in the tray icon), sometimes this may simply be necessary if vibration does not occur for some reason.
Now the Dualsense will respond to any sound from your PC.
I usually turn the music volume down and the sounds up in most games.
It responds to all sounds but works best with gunshots, bumps, and anything with deep sound/bass.
It works great in Witchfire, I'd say 👍
---------------
There's also a paid DSX app for Dualsense available on Steam. DSX also converts sounds into vibrations. But there was always a terrible vibration lag. And the more you play, the longer it gets (in Voicemeeter with delay everything is fine).
Thank you for your attention. Yes, it will be great if vibration appears in the controllers 👍
I've already made a Dualsense profile with gyroscope on Steam bindings, I'm enjoying my time in Witchfire, the game has exceeded my expectations to be honest, very enjoyable gameplay.
The vibration of the controllers will only add new sensations to this wonderful game, I'm sure.
hope some of you play on dualsense and atleast add PS button icons in the near future please also add full haptic feedback, I am sure this will come to consoles at some point in the future
There is not a single shooter on the planet who feels better with a Gamepad. Each their own, but good luck dealing with G4 and above.
