Best of luck mate.
In any case, this is a massive blow, and I'll probably spend a couple runs grinding health or something idk :/
All you can do is progress through insanity green light as fast as you can and then hide behind a pillar or in the shadows to refill your sanity.
The way to beat the vault is kill everything inside it within the time limit.
Green light has nothing to do with victory conditions
Damn, I'm not even sure that's survivable with the time it'd take to find the path forwards and run through all under the damaging effect.
What level would you say is good for tackling it? I find the second map really hard so far, and the first very manageable. Can't remember my exact level though, but I can check next time I play.
Edit: Just checked and I'm at lv17. No idea if that's good enough for the vault.
And even if your meter runs out, all it does is a little damage and then your meter resets.
Please don't get me wrong, i don't have a problem with the mechanic, but i just don't know what to do. Maybe it's my bad english (i'm german, go blame me ;-P), maybe a marker on the map could help. At this moment it's just frustrating.
I'm level 10 with Gnosis 1 and I just did it. It's a weird mechanic and not explained at all.
Just stay out of the green light and shoot the enemies. Not really much more to it.
At the end, don't miss out on the 2 chests rewards. Does anybody know if there is an exit, because I walked all the way back to the entry.
The sanity zones force you to fight where the game wants you to fight, if you try to fight in a sanity zone you will fill the meter over and over again until you die. That is how they control your movement in the 2 fights key fights in that vault. They don't really pose a threat because they can only kill you if you make incredibly the incredibly poor decision to fight while standing in one of those zones.
Hope that helps.
