Castle gate softlock

When i visited the castle map for the first time i used the bell to lower the drawbridge, but then left the map without entering the castle itself (was low on resources). On the second and subsequent runs the drawbridge is still closed, while the bell was consumed after the first use.

Am i softlocked? Is there a way to either get the bell item again or enter the castle bypassing the drawbridge?

doesnt bell drop from drowned captain? Not sure but maybe you can buy it from merchant

Hm, thanks, wiki does say that it is purchaseable, but i don't see it in merchants wares. Will try to farm drowned captain for a bit

Another entry is on the right side of the castle and on the left side is one where you need an item from a faithful.

You also can just double jump onto the closed bridge(a bit to the right of it) and squeeze into the opening with another jump, since the bridge itself isn't perfectly vertical

Another garunteed drop is from the optional boss in front of the draw bridge.
