The lantern of souls needs to be tweaked

I've tried it a couple times and, well, yet to complete it, first time, the souls just didn't bother to go into the lantern, the draw in needs to be way stronger. The second time, I don't know, the game doesn't bother to tell you HOW many souls it needs to complete, which is annoying.

The second time I tried it, it was in a valley and spammed the shielded enemies, gathered 6 or 8 souls before failed, that and their annoying projectile triggered a calamity so had to get out anyway.

That even needs some work so it's clear just WHAT needs to be done as the little 'get out of the way of souls' text is useless.

in my experience you just have to not touch the red souls yourself, and it just spawns 1 Demonic ammo drop per soul you manage to get in there in X amount of seconds. Not sure how long the event goes for

unless you're hurting for demonic ammo specifically, it's not an event I would bother with. I usually skip it

It's just strange that, it calls it a failed event when it ended, even though I had ammo sitting next to it, it needs to be more rewarding for an event that can EASILY cause a calamity with spawns that can pop anywhere. It also doesn't help that the souls are so damn slow and you NEED to just hug the stupid lantern, move more then 10 feet away and I don't think they will ever reach it.

I don't tend to stand that close to it, souls seem to move on their own toward it the few times I've done it. although I haven't tried to see if there's a max range, I haven't noticed any ill effect from sitting back and just sniping the things that spawn from it

but I would agree, it definitely should do more than it does. easier to just buy a bag of demonic ammo than hope one of those things happens to spawn

Does it have a winning condition even, or always says "Failed"? I never saw anything else. Too slow?
