On the main base, yeah, I do. Everything else works fine, although alt+tab tends to cause some stutter for a litle while.

i have this since today. 4080 Super. Was able to play just fine over the weekend without any problems and just when i started it up today, the game lags every 2-3 seconds. Happens in the Main Menu, the Hub and inghame.

Dont really understand why, because nothing changed since two days ago.

yo. i was having this issue as well. i dont know if you have gforce experience and it told you to update your nvidia drivers . i went back to sept 11ths nvidia driver and all my stutter is now gone. the divers that came out on oct 1-2 made unreal engine game stutter for me including space marine 2

I have not had an issue so far and Idk if this will help but I had stutters in No Mans Sky and I had to change my advanced performance settings to adjust for best performance of background processes to remove the stutter. i doubt it will fix it for this game for you and wont make a difference but you never know.

I am also still on 537.58 still since I have not trusted a driver yet since which is more likely to help than the above.
Have also noticed stuttering every few seconds, hard to ignore. Doesn't seem to be tied to any single graphics setting, from what I could tell.

Space Marine 2 is actually Swarm Engine, which is Saber's proprietary engine. But I don;t blame you for thinking that it's UE it looks a LOT like one, namely with so many grainy particles/effects.

having this issue too, frame drops occurring every 3 seconds in base and in maps

Same issue here, but it feels random.
I do notice longer stutters when progressing on a map, in a new location, but it's even back and forth sometimes.
I mitigated the issue with:
- deactivate v-sync
- activate Fsync
- limit FPS in game to my monitor rate
Not perfect, but I can play without thinking too much about it...

fixed it on my end, try switching to fullscreen from windowed full screen and switching off dlss

In my case, I am already in fullscreen, and I don't use DLSS.

Don't use ingame vsync, don't use ingame fps limiter. Setup any sort of VRR (gsync, freesync), limit fps with rivatuner to HZ-6 (138 with 144hz, 234 with 240hz).

Try dxvk as last resort, but should be fixed already.
