Yeah there these guys wich want to turn every single game out there into a pvp game xD
I guess these are the same people wich stand infront of main citys in mmos spamming duell requests, till they get blocked by everyone ha ha ha xD
I really hope not more of them show up, to give the developers wrong ideas :-/
(Would be sad to see this game failing because of that ...)
I kinda do the opposite, whenever I can go full offline, SP-only mode in a game, I do it. For example Elden Ring is a single-player game for me, not even a single MP session during my 200+ hours. I got really bad memories after Dark Souls 3 multiplayer...
Agreed, give them an inch then they take a mile. "This class is OP for multiplayer". Balancing for both MP and SP ruins the experience for both. If this game goes PVP I'm out and I don't think it's unfair to say. There are so many multiplayer games out there to enjoy, go enjoy them.
What I don't understand is when you are searching for a game to play and this says "Single Player" why clamour for it to be PVP or Co-op? Go search for a co-op or PVP game that states what it is being developed for.
Yeah same for me in every souls game, the multiplayer just kills the immersion anyways.
"There are so many multiplayer games out there to enjoy, go enjoy them."
So true ;-)
I genuinely dont understand the mindset people have, who will look at a single player game and decide it should have multiplayer. If Witchfire added pvp it would be bad the game would die faster then your interest in this game would.
+1
This game is not even 50% complete, and I already have 50+ hours and still find the game interesting. There are still some builds I'd like to try out.
When the new maps drop next year I'll easily clock 100+ hours more, and I bet I'm not the only one. The player numbers might be dropping now, because there are many who finished the currently available content. Let's talk again about "dying" next year when the new map drops.
Im a relatively good pvp shooter player and in Hunt Showdown, i got shot in the head 3 times in 3 diffrent matches with a single shot (always first shot) from very long distance while sprinting through bushes (3 times in a row) that told me enough xD
I mean who wnats to play games against such players here ...

(Just an example ...)
Its good to have such single player games like Witchfire as alternative ;-)
I have been playing MP shooters since battlefield 1942. Biggest one I played was Planet-side 2. I stopped playing MP's since battlefront 2 because I knew people were cheating and it was RAMPANT. It's just not fun, it takes away from the immersion and game play. Ever since that game I always stuck with single player or Co-Op like Hell-divers 2.
Thank you for the video, makes me feel like I was right about why I stopped. Kudo's to you.
