What do you spend your gold on?

I've unlocked everything at the workshop so i've been spending my gold on witchfire to lvl up faster. There's no reason I should be saving the gold, correct?

You could buy just witchfire. I buy always the witchts guard, treasure hunters prism and foulmutant and play castle for 400k+ witchfire per run

why even level up? after you unlocked all guns and killed 3 bosses, there's nothing else to do

Play for fun. Make challenges for yourself(use all pistols and no spells, do a run using no elixirs, all decay only, don’t aim down sights,etc). Use to do that all the time in phasmophobia making up our own rules just because why not.

you are right. I just enjoy the game very much. After playing path of exile for over 8k hours I lost the ability the play a game for fun. I always try to find a way to "dont waste time" "just the efficient way is the correct way" "I have to be fast"...I can play witchfire and have fun with no rush. I still try to get the most out of a run haha but its fun even with 100% the game already so far

Stockpile witchfire to become the next pope. Did that in Lords of The Fallen. Replay boss and hunt player for hard currency piles. There's no point but that's the point.

I mostly use it to research third mysterium incantations. I imagine there must be a way to farm them like second mysterium incantations but I haven't upgraded my Gnosis enough for that so its a nice way to get my guns fully upgraded at my current Gnosis level
