Mysterium Incantations *New player question*
So Im reading to not buy many Second and Third Mysterium Incantations because you can farm a ton of them.

Im stilling at Gnosis 2, luck 20 - I dont seem to even GET calamity options on the first map wich Im reading is where the mobs they can spawn from happen, and the second map I only seem to get them from repeats on the Shield boss, and the lantern roaming boss IF Im fast enough.

Is there something I havent unlocked that will provide me more options for those to drop.

Those seem to be my current gate to advancement.

The Second Mysteriums are very easy to get. Just kill a mini boss and they'll likely drop one.
The Warden ALWAYS drops one, and he's super easy to kill with any rifle. Half the time he doesn't even see you. Other enemies like the Grenadier and the Devotee drop them sometimes. You don't really need them that often, it's better to pick an element and build around that. If you like Lightning then only upgrade the lightning weapons and spells. If you like fire, do the same. I had 10 extra ones laying around with out being able to use them.

Mysterium 3's are way better just to buy. It's only 40 gold which is easily gotten in one run on the Scarlet Coast. Just buy them and dump any extra gold into it before you leave. Once you do another run, you'll come back with the same amount of gold and the Mysterium will be done. Again you don't need a million of these, just upgrade the weapons that work with your build.

Just to be clear, Vermilion Knight is referring to Drowned Captain mini boss who hunts the player on the Scarlet Coast.
I'll add that there is another source of Third Mysterium Incantations - Irongate Castle mini boss event, but he can be challenging early game, so its more like mid-late game farm option

I have yet to see the Drowned Captain - when does that occur?

It's not an event that you have to manually start like pentagrams, I think his spawn is random on the Scarlet Coast.
Are you sure you've never seen him? Grenadier-size husk with a musket and some new moves. Once he has spawned, the music changes and there is a note in the bottom left corner like "the Drowning Captain is hunting you".

I get the Drowned Captain pretty much every time I do a Scarlet Coast run. I think he just spawns after doing enough of the events and dangerous areas on the map.
