no matter how hard i try with a combination of different bloacks i am still unable to get a good enough height to try and get above the clouds any help will be very welcome guys thanks

yes but even with the jetpack my tower fails at around 19-25 blocks

Maybe you don't start from the highest island, because normally you don't even need to build a tower, with a few shots of shotgun or sniper below you it's enough. Did you try to go left & right with the jetpack to be sure ?

I was able to jetpack from my highest island to the bottom of the skylands. it took me a few jumps to make a platform I could stand on, but it's definitely too far to build a tower up to there.

tried straight up nothing off to the right nothing when i went left i saw the bottom point of a floating landmass did not try the shotgun will give it a go

@Gaddy Games i would recommend using the drones for scouting too as it will help map out the area also a function on be able to export as a JPG the map you have so you can know where everything is

Sorry I wasn't very clear: I suggested to scout on the left & the right, to see if you don't have other "lower islands" around you, one a little higher. As there are about a dozen of the floating islands, maybe you missed one a little higher than where you currently stand, that would help the jump

@♥♥♥♥, I Missed.: yes of course we can't make a tower, but if you make a small tower (like 20 or 30 blocks height) it will help to jump higher. And pushing with weapons knockback will help too

found it bro the hishest floating island and a little off to the left then when you get high enough a hard right onto the platform

Using the plasma shotgun as additionnal propulsion helps to go high enough.

And you can build a tower high enough to reach the skylands, but it's not easy.

no need for a high tower a tower of around 12 and using the jetpack and shotgun does fine
