"While buffed by Blink/Dash" jobs not working..?

Really fun and cute game, but I can't complete any of the jobs that require an action while buffed by something. How exactly do you get "buffed" by dash or blink? I have Happy Ham and various shoes, but no matter how many times I try to dash and then quickly land a slam or melee attack it doesn't complete the jobs. I am high enough level. Same story for blink jobs...

Fixed various UI navigation issues
Fixed quest-related events sometimes causing the game to become unresponsive
Fixed an important NPC sometimes disappearing in the early game, causing a softlock
Loot table balance to drop slightly less "inventory filler" items

Is the demo for the prologue or the full game?

I would've assumed the prologue was the demo, but now it seems there's a demo for the demo.
